What did you deliver and how did you get there?
I made a plan to improve operations at Flowserve by using digital solutions such as scanning systems. First I looked at how the goods and information flow through the warehouse. Then I looked for things that could be improved and gave advice on how to do so.
What is the added value for the company?
The company can now make better use of its systems. This ensures that they collect more data. They can use that data in the future to make their work easier and smarter.
What did you enjoy or value the most?
I enjoyed working on the digitisation because it is such a relevant topic. These were not standard products and not a typical logistics assignment, which made it even more interesting. In addition, the work atmosphere was very pleasant!
