The logistics department opened its doors to a group of girls from primary school de Kameleon in Oosterhout. They were explained by alumna and employee of BUas, Irene Weijts, about what goes on behind a 'simple' item of clothing or food in the supermarket. After this, it was up to them to smartly organize the chain of an H&M order. They chose the raw materials, calculated the quantities, chose the most suitable means of transport, made a transport plan and chose the fastest route. With the goal: a satisfied customer!

It was a successful afternoon with fun questions and comments. And what is better positive feedback than: 'Wow, I learned so much.'

Hopefully we will see more and more ladies in the logistics field in the future too! Smart organisation is definitely something you can leave to lots of girls.
