The year 2020 will be remembered for the COVID-19 pandemic and its related consequences. The coronavirus has disrupted global supply chains, posing severe challenges to businesses all over the world. This sudden disruptor has affected every economy, including the ways of living, working, and travelling. Furthermore, it has had a huge disruptive impact on global supply chains. To ensure business continuity, companies have started to reassess the resilience and robustness of their supply chains. The disruptions have taken place in every industry. However, also positive effects occurred from the pandemic.
