Nowadays, globalization runs the world. Supply chains started being more complex and wider, than ever before. Crossing borders was never as easy as it is today. However, a pandemic of COVID-19 cut these connections in one day and put enormous stress on the supply chains. The construction industry was one of the first victims of epidemic reality. Closed borders, disruption in the flow of goods, lack of raw material and employees, high infection rates on the sites, and rising prices were just a nightmare for constructors, which came true in 2020. But how exactly did this nightmare turn into reality?
