What did you deliver and how did you get there?
I wrote a consultancy report for Maastricht Aachen Airport containing three recommendations for increasing the import and export of medicines by air. The report also includes an implementation plan. I achieved this through thorough research and interviews with air cargo companies.
What is the added value for the company?
My recommendations will help Maastricht Aachen Airport improve its strategy, commercial approach and operational processes. This will result in more imports and exports of medicines, which will in turn generate more customers and increase other product flows. In this way, my recommendations will contribute to the goal of becoming the fastest growing and most modern quality airport in Europe.
What did you enjoy or value the most?
I have always wanted to work in this sector after completing my education. During this placement, I was able to expand my knowledge of the aviation world. Visits to companies such as DSV and Emirates SkyCargo have given me valuable insights and a strong network for my future in this industry.
